We had a couple of afternoon pheasant hunts recently.  I filmed with my camera in one hand and my shotgun in the other  “don’t try this at home.”

We bought a wire- hair pointing griffon 7 years ago and didn’t hunt him often.  He has good instincts and always pointed well but would run too far out and not methodically work.   This year I bought a membership at a shooting preserve and a good shock collar.  Griffy, my dog has improved by leaps and bounds.   We’re able to hunt and train there from Sept 1st to March 31st.   He is pointing excellent, retrieving/ finding cripples and has really made bird hunting much more enjoyable. I wanted to share this short clip.

See Ya!
