We have had a heck of a summer so far.  The weather this July has been exceptional with lots of daily rain showers.  I’ve been guiding almost every day since early June and we have held it together pretty well.  The fishing the last few days has gotten a little tougher with lower and warmer water temps.  Up through mid July we have had PMD’s, golden stones, and some other various smaller stone flies.  We are currently looking forward to seeing trico’s and hoppers, yay!

The Bitterroot, Clark Fork, and the Blackfoot have all seen some real nice big nocturnal stones. I’ve been all over the map and we have had some amazing guests.  My son has been sticking some huge northern pike on his fly rod, it seems to be his passion right now, I’m still heavy in the trout game.  Thanks for checking out our blog, Cya soon!
