take a look in this brownie’s mouth, what do you see?

The fishing this June was exceptional.  Rainy days/ overcast.  Clear, lower than normal water.  We had multiple 100 fish days on Rock Creek, caught bullies up there.  the root rocked.  Joe and I floated the mid Clark Fork and his boat was bent the whole day, seriously, I don’t think I looked over at his boat one time when one or both of his guys didn’t have a trout hooked.  My boat actually had a triple that day.  John caught one trout on the dropper/ another on his dry, and Jeffry stuck one on his dropper.  One of my best friends and clients counted 66 trout in the net as a single on the Creek.  He isn’t a fish counter, we just thought it would be fun to see how many actually make it in the boat with one good angler ripping em!

I had the Waltons, Mr. Ellis, Chuck, Dan Kelly, Jeff Hughes, the Roe’s, John Ball, Joe Halder, Mark, Ron, and a bunch of other awesome humans that make this business worth it.  A Killer June!  Thank you for coming out!

It’s getting hot and I have a few days off, Thanks Joe!  Hopefully July will be as fun to fish as June was.

My family and I camped at Rock Creek last night and floated yesterday.    My wife and kids caught a bunch of trout and we had a blast heading into the 4th of July, no pun intended!  We caught a rubber Boa, on of my all time favorite snakes, they are extremely docile and just  cool critters.  My son and daughter held this little guy for a while and gently released him away from the harm of the road where we luckily found him.

Its time to go get some fireworks and enjoy this week with my family and my buddy Doug’s families place.

Rubber boa we rescued from being ran over on Rock Creek road!

We usually have too much fun blowing up things and havng a cold one or two  at his house on the 4th.  I hope all of you have a great 4th of July and enjoy your friends and family also.

Light it Up!!!!!!!!!!
