Some flies you just have to tie. I used to get these foam bodies indirectly from John Faust, Joe would pass them on to me. I’ve tried to make the foam but haven’t mastered the furry foam/glueing process and color. Unfortunately these bugs might be my last true freddy bodied freddies, with the bodies being made by the Legend John Faust. I tied a couple of bullet head skwalas also!
I am tired of hearing chicken little complain about not having enough snow, or the drought might come back this year. If I hear one more person talking bout trout doomsday, I’m going to throw something! February has been real cold and the snow pack is great. We are looking forward to killin it this year like we have the last five! ://montana snowpack
On other notes:
My wife took me to a Wayne Static concert in Missoula last week, we had a blast. Gotta love the metal but I know I’m getting old when I thought it was a bit loud. I haven’t heard much the last few days but oh well, I just nod when my wife says something.
We are fishing this week so I’ll post some reports shortly.
